Isn’t it amazing how Web 2.0 has grown in terms of language! You should take a look at this CMS (Content Management Service) called Bitrix Site Manager 7.0 by Bitrix. It allows businesses to create multilingual websites simply using UTF-8 coding that accommodates the language needs of users and customers using a Web 2.0 format. This is really something special.

I was surprised to see how many sites are available looking out for our reputations. I think we all have to be a bit more smart about what stuff we post online that reveals too much of who we are, but it’s nice to know we can possibly count on these sites so if we did for some reason wanna show off our drinking capabilities we could do so. haa

on the one hand- i feel like i am not taking full advantage of the program offered to me.

on the other- i don’t want to get more invested in a computer program i rarely use and at least 40 items on the list seem pointless to me. but, very interesting to know that i COULD be doing more with this simple site then i am. there are tons of time consuming options to explore rather then do homework sometime!

It’s a pretty cool idea, if not just from the technology and innovation standpoint. Not to be skeptical but I wouldn’t want to record everything I see on a daily basis. I don’t live an exceptionally exciting life but I have to wonder, if we forget the things we do for a reason, why mess with that balance? There are moments of spectacular but also many, many things I’m relieved to have forgotten.

I feel like there is a lot of shady things happening on the internet that we are not aware of. Recently, I blogged on phishing, which is the new way to rob money from banks. Terrorism is another potential downfall of the internet… hopefully more regulatory sites pop up on the web to stop illegal activities.

do you happen to know the name of the hit NBC had picked up? i can’t think of any smash reality hits in general, let alone that were started by myspace, but dang. this seems like a very sad turn of events for the internet.

I think that you addressed a big concern with the Internet right now. It’s good to know that there are websites out there that are trying to right the wrong done to people.
I don’t think that there are any questionable websites trying to dig up my dirt (or lack there of) but the link you gave is definitely a nice weapon to keep…

post secret is my not so secret (ha) obsession. i love how people are still so into it and sending secrets in, going to one of the travelling exhibits (if not road tripping to his stationary one) is one of my goals this summer. i got hooked from book one and the site is amazing. the comments people make, it’s just aces.

my favorite on the site was a postcard that read “i hate planning this wedding but it seems so important to you, i just want to elope” and then a man’s response of “honey, you told me to look for your secret and if this is it, i thought it was important to you! let’s go to vegas!” how cool is it that the internet and this random posting availability may have opened up a couple like that? haha, or gotten some guy in hot water if it wasn’t his fiance’ that wrote that?
