Myspace is being sued over a teenager’s death after a fake profile was made for her. Graduates are cleaning out their Facebook profiles for fear of company’s seeing their Friday night out. I feel like there is a lot of shady things happening on the internet that we are not aware of. Recently, I blogged on phishing, which is the new way to rob money from banks. Terrorism is another potential downfall of the internet… hopefully more regulatory sites pop up on the web to stop illegal activities.
I was surprised to see how many sites are available looking out for our reputations. I think we all have to be a bit more smart about what stuff we post online that reveals too much of who we are, but it’s nice to know we can possibly count on these sites so if we did for some reason wanna show off our drinking capabilities we could do so. haa
